Enrolling in dental school is a huge commitment. As this interview with a first year dental student shows, just getting accepted into dental school requires a great deal of work on the student’s part.
Despite the rigor requried to earn a medical degree, it seems that more people are showing an interest in becoming doctors and dentists. According to information from the ADA Health Policy Institute (recently featured by the ADA News), the number of students enrolled in pre-doctoral programs has increased, going from 23,589 students during the 2014-15 academic year, to 24,038 students during the 2015-16 academic year.
Here at Kazmer Periodontics, we are eager to help future dentists and dental
assistants. We were grateful to recieve a certificate of appreciation from the Central Carolina Community College Dental Assisting Class of 2014. We allowed students from Central Carolina to do rotations in our office.
As always – whether you are a future dentist, pediatrician, accountant, graphic designer, marketing expert, or teacher – take care of your smile!
